Sieťový kábel S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 5 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 5 m is a 5-metre Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission and improved electromagnetic protection. Built to Cat 7 specification with S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this bright orange cable provides robust connectivity for network devices while reducing interference in crowded cable environments.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall screen with individually shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, supporting stable high-throughput performance. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and corrosion resistance for consistent signal transfer. The 5 m length balances reach and signal quality for typical home, office, and equipment-rack deployments, and the orange jacket makes the cable easy to identify within cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Connecting computers, switches and routers in home and small office networks
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, online gaming and large file transfers
• Server rooms and network cabinets where reduced interference and clear cable identification are required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 7 Ethernet cable
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil‑shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Length: 5 metres
• Colour: Orange
• Intended use: Structured networks, data transmission, LAN connections

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device (computer, switch, router or modem) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the clip clicks into place. For best performance, avoid sharp bends, kinks and tight cable ties near the connectors or along the cable run. Keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise when routing alongside power lines or motors.

Recommendations

For optimal network performance, use the cable in environments that match Cat 7 installation practices: maintain proper bend radius, avoid excessive pulling force during installation, and pair with compatible networking hardware that supports higher frequency operation.
