Sieťový kábel S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 5 m zelený

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 5 m Green is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed network connections. With S/FTP construction and RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts, the cable supports reliable data transmission while minimising electromagnetic interference. The 5-metre length and green jacket make it suitable for visible runs or colour-coded installations where a durable, performance-oriented cable is required.

Advantages

The cable’s S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs to reduce crosstalk and external noise, improving signal integrity in congested or electrically noisy environments. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs enhance contact reliability and corrosion resistance for consistent connectivity. A flexible outer jacket and standard Cat 7 pair construction provide mechanical durability while maintaining transmission performance at higher frequencies.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks and home office connections
• Small business and office LAN installations
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, online gaming, and large file transfers
• Patch panels, switches and router connections in structured cabling setups
• Colour-coded cable management where visible cable identification is needed

Key specifications

• Category: Cat. 7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 metres
• Outer jacket colour: Green
• Suitable frequency range: designed for higher-frequency Ethernet transmission (Cat 7 performance class)
• Conductor design: twisted pairs

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (router, switch, modem or network card) and the other plug to the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks and avoid sharp bends or kinks near the connectors to maintain signal quality. For in-rack or wall installations, route the cable to avoid sources of strong electromagnetic interference and secure it with appropriate clips or cable ties without over-tightening.

Recommendations

For optimum performance, use the cable within its specified length limits and avoid running it in parallel with high-voltage power lines. When installing in structured cabling, pair with compatible Cat. 7-rated components and terminate on certified keystone jacks or patch panels to preserve shielding continuity.
