Sieťový kábel S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 7,5 m

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 7.5 m is a 7.5‑metre Ethernet patch cable designed for high‑bandwidth wired networks. It uses S/FTP (screened foiled twisted pair) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and features RJ‑45 connectors with gold plating for reliable contact and signal transmission. The cable's yellow jacket provides clear visual identification in crowded cable runs while supporting modern networking requirements.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with individual foil around each twisted pair, providing enhanced protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded alternatives. The Cat. 7 specification supports higher frequencies suitable for demanding data and multimedia applications. Gold‑plated RJ‑45 connectors improve corrosion resistance and ensure stable electrical contact over repeated insertions. The 7.5 m length balances flexibility and reach for typical rack, workstation, and home network layouts.

Suitable for

• High‑speed Ethernet connections in offices and home networks
• Server room patching and rack interconnects
• High‑definition video streaming and large file transfers
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat. 7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil around each pair)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connector type: RJ‑45
• Connector plating: Gold
• Jacket color: Yellow

How to use

Identify the devices or network ports to be connected and route the 7.5 m cable avoiding tight bends and sharp edges to preserve shielding integrity. Insert the gold‑plated RJ‑45 plugs firmly into compatible Ethernet ports until a click confirms engagement. For rack installations, secure excess cable to cable management fixtures to prevent strain on connectors. Test the link using network diagnostics or a cable tester to verify proper connectivity and performance.

Recommendations

Use the cable in shielded or mixed installations where additional protection from electromagnetic interference is beneficial. Avoid running the cable parallel to high‑voltage power lines for extended distances. If using in structured cabling systems, follow local standards for grounding and bonding of shielded cables to ensure optimal performance.
