Why choose it

This adapter cable combines a lengthy 15-metre reach with the simplicity of USB-C connectivity. It's driverless on most modern operating systems, so you can move between Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android devices without installing software. The nickel-plated connectors resist corrosion, and the PVC jacket protects against everyday wear.

Ideal use cases

• Adding wired network access to ultrabooks or tablets with only USB-C ports
• Temporary connections in meeting rooms or trade show booths
• Reaching a network switch or router far from your workstation
• Diagnosing network issues with a laptop that lacks an Ethernet port

Good to know

The cable is backward compatible with 10/100 Mbps networks, so it works in older infrastructures. The RJ45 connector is female, meaning you plug a standard Ethernet patch cable into it. The adapter draws power from the USB port, so no external power supply is needed.
