Suitable for

• Home LAN outlet installations
• Office workstations and meeting rooms
• Patch panels in small server rooms or network closets
• Upgrading or expanding structured cabling systems

Key specifications

• Form factor: 2-port keystone module
• Color: white
• Compatibility: fits standard keystone wall plates and patch panels
• Connection type: RJ45-style network ports for Ethernet cabling
• Application: terminating and providing access to Ethernet cables in structured cabling
• Mounting: snap-in installation into keystone cutouts

How to use

Prepare the Ethernet cables by stripping the jacket and arranging the conductor pairs according to the chosen wiring standard. Terminate each cable onto the adapter's IDC or punch-down contacts following the color code, or use the designated termination method supported by the module. Insert the finished module into a compatible keystone opening on a wall plate or patch panel until it snaps into place. Connect patch cables or devices to the exposed RJ45-compatible ports to establish network links.

Recommendations

Use the adapter with compatible keystone plates and panels to ensure secure mounting and alignment. Verify wiring polarity and pair order before making connections, and test each port with a network tester after installation. For longer-term installations, avoid excessive bending or strain on terminated cables at the module entry point.
