Sieťový kábel Cat8 S/STP CABLETIME 3 m čierny

CABLETIME Cat8 S/STP network cable, 3 m black, is a shielded twisted-pair Ethernet cable built to Cat8 performance levels. The cable supports high-frequency data transmission for short-run links and is intended for applications requiring high bandwidth and reduced electromagnetic interference. Its S/STP construction provides overall shielding plus individually shielded pairs to preserve signal integrity for 25/40 Gbps links over short distances, and the 3 m length in black finish makes it suitable for rack, server and desktop environments where a compact, discreet connection is needed.

Advantages

The CABLETIME Cat8 S/STP cable offers enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference through its combined shielding design. Its Category 8 specification supports elevated bandwidth and higher transmission frequencies compared with lower-category cables, helping to maintain stable throughput for compatible equipment. The 3 m length reduces excess cable slack in structured cabling setups and the black jacket provides a neutral appearance for installations where visual uniformity is desired.

Suitable for

• Short‑run 25/40 Gbps Ethernet connections in data centers and server rooms
• High-performance workstation or desktop connections requiring low interference
• Patching between switches, routers and patch panels in rack environments
• Home networks where shielded cable is preferred to reduce EMI

How to use

Connect one RJ45-terminated end of the CABLETIME Cat8 S/STP cable to the Ethernet port of the source device and the other end to the destination device, such as a switch, server or network interface. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and engaged to establish a solid mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable away from strong EMI sources where possible; when used in rack environments, secure the cable to avoid strain on the connectors. For maximum performance at 25/40 Gbps, use the cable for short runs between compliant devices and proper Cat8-rated patch panels or ports.

Recommendations

Use the CABLETIME Cat8 S/STP cable for short-distance, high-speed links and pair it with Cat8-compliant equipment and terminations. Avoid unnecessary bending or crushing of the cable and maintain manufacturer-recommended bend radius. If used in mixed-cable installations, keep shielded and unshielded runs separated where practical to preserve shielding effectiveness.
