Sieťový kábel Digitus CAT 6 S/FTP RJ-45 10 m čierny

The DIGITUS Category 6 S/FTP patch cord (10 m) is a high-quality network cable designed for professional data transmission. It features S/FTP shielding, copper conductors and an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath for improved fire behaviour and low smoke emissions. The transparent red RJ-45 connector with metal shielding identifies Category 6 (250 MHz) performance and the cable is PoE+ ready.

Advantages

The cable is manufactured and tested to ISO/IEC 11801 and DIN EN 50173 Category 6 specifications, ensuring compliance with ISO & EN channel requirements and reliable performance up to 250 MHz including NEXT characteristics. Molded boots provide kink protection, strain relief and latch protection to reduce the risk of connector damage. S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference for stable connections.

Suitable for

• Wired local area networks (LAN) requiring Category 6 performance
• Connections between switches, routers and patch panels
• Power over Ethernet setups (PoE/PoE+)
• Environments where low smoke and halogen-free materials are required

Key specifications

• Brand: DIGITUS
• Category: Cat 6 (Class E), 250 MHz
• Shielding: S/FTP
• Conductor material: Copper (Cu)
• Sheath: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Connector: RJ-45 with metal shielding, transparent red
• Length: 10 m
• Color: Black

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (switch, router or patch panel) and the other end to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks; the molded boot with latch protection helps prevent accidental damage when plugging and unplugging. Route the cable without sharp bends to maintain the kink protection and optimal signal performance.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to power lines and keep bend radius within manufacturer guidance. Use the cable in installations that require Cat 6 performance and LSZH materials for reduced smoke and halogen-free operation.
