Sieťový kábel Digitus Cat.7 S/FTP 500m oranžový

The Digitus Cat.7 S/FTP 500m installation cable is a high-performance network cable designed for structured cabling in data centers and buildings. It supports 10 Gbit Ethernet and a transmission frequency up to 1200 MHz, is permanent-link certified and compliant with relevant standards including ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50288-4-1, DIN EN 50173, IEC 60332-3-24 and EN 50575. The cable supports PoE/PoE+ and is supplied in a 500 m reel in orange colour for easy identification.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines individually foil-wrapped pairs with an overall tinned copper braid to provide strong protection against electromagnetic interference and ensure stable electrical characteristics. The construction enables reliable transmission of analog and digital data at high speeds while meeting CPR class Cca-s1a d1 a1 fire performance. The cable’s design is suitable for permanent link installations and offers compatibility with standard Cat7 network infrastructures.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling in data centers
• Building backbone and horizontal cabling
• High-speed Ethernet connections up to 10 Gbit/s
• Power over Ethernet (PoE/PoE+) deployments
• Long runs and permanent link applications (500 m reel)

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat.7
• Shielding: S/FTP (individually foil-wrapped pairs + tinned copper braid)
• Transmission frequency: up to 1200 MHz
• Data rate: up to 10 Gbit/s
• Length: 500 m
• Color: Orange
• CPR class: Cca-s1a d1 a1
• Certifications/standards: ISO/IEC 11801, DIN EN 50288-4-1, DIN EN 50173, IEC 60332-3-24, EN 50575

How to use

Install the Digitus Cat.7 S/FTP cable as part of a structured cabling system following local wiring practices and the referenced standards. Terminate the cable with appropriate Cat7-compatible keystone jacks or connectors that match the S/FTP construction and ensure proper grounding of the braid. Use the orange reel to route and manage long runs; perform certification testing for permanent link compliance after termination to verify performance.

Recommendations

For best performance, maintain recommended bend radius during installation, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines where possible, and use compatible PoE equipment rated for the required power class. After installation, certify the permanent link to confirm 10 Gbit/s performance and shielding integrity.
