Sieťový kábel Draka Comteq S/FTP patch Cat6 20 m

The Draka Comteq S/FTP-Patch Cat6 20m is a 20-metre network patch cable with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, designed for structured cabling and point-to-point Ethernet connections. Built to Cat6 specifications with S/FTP shielding, the cable supports high-speed data transmission for modern LAN environments while the black jacket provides a discreet, professional appearance suitable for office, datacenter, and home network installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines overall foil shielding with individually foil-shielded pairs to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity over the full 20 m length. Cat6-rated conductor and optimized twist geometry enable stable performance at up to 250 MHz, making the cable suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and other high-bandwidth applications. The factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs provide plug-and-play convenience and consistent contact quality.

Suitable for

• Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices and server rooms
• Patch panels and wall plates in structured cabling systems
• Connecting switches, routers, and networked devices
• Temporary or permanent workstation cabling for computers and VoIP phones

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends, factory-terminated
• Rated frequency: up to 250 MHz
• Colour: black outer jacket

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router, or network interface) and the other plug to the destination port such as a patch panel, wall outlet, or another device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to confirm a secure physical connection. For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and maintain recommended bend radius; route the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible.

Recommendations

Use the cable for Gigabit and lower-speed Ethernet applications within the specified 20 m length. For permanent installations, verify performance with network testing tools after installation and avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to minimize interference. Store unused cable coiled without tight kinks and protect connector ends during transport and handling.
