Sieťový kábel Equip Cat.6 S/FTP patch kábel RJ-45 50 m sivý

The equip® Cat.6 S/FTP Patch Cord is a 50 m high-quality network cable designed for reliable gigabit connections. Constructed from carefully selected materials and tested to industrial standards, this grey patch cable features RJ-45 connectors with gold plating and S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and preserve signal integrity over longer runs.

Advantages

The Cat.6 S/FTP construction offers higher bandwidth and improved signal-to-noise margin compared with lower-category cables, enabling stable and low-error data transmission at speeds up to 1000 Mbit/s. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure consistent contact quality, while the screened and foil-shielded pairs decrease crosstalk and external interference.

Suitable for

• Wired gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000Base-T) installations
• Office and home networks requiring stable long runs
• Server rooms and network closets with moderate electromagnetic interference
• Network upgrades where Cat.6 performance is required

Key specifications

• Cable length: 50 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 — RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil on pairs)
• Colour: Grey
• Weight: 1.83 kg

How to use

Route the equip® Cat.6 S/FTP patch cable between network devices such as switches, routers and patch panels. Ensure connectors are fully inserted into RJ-45 sockets until they click. Avoid sharp bends and kinks and keep the cable away from high-power electrical lines to maintain shielding effectiveness and signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable in gigabit networks and replace connectors or cable sections that show visible damage. In environments with strong EMI, pair the cable routing with grounded patch panels and proper cable management to preserve the shielding benefits.
