Sieťový kábel Goobay 68687 čierny 0,5m Cat6 S/FTP

The Goobay 68687 networking cable is a 0.5 m Cat6 S/FTP cable with copper conductors and a halogen-free (LSZH) sheath. Designed for high-speed data transmission, it features RJ-45 plugs with gold-plated contacts and S/FTP shielding to reduce interference and signal loss, suitable for home and office networks.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines foil and braided protection to minimise electromagnetic interference, while gold-plated RJ-45 contacts improve connectivity and reduce corrosion. The LSZH sheath decreases hazardous gas emission in case of fire and the copper (CU) conductors ensure reliable signal transmission at Cat6 performance levels.

Suitable for

• Connecting routers, switches and network devices in home networks
• Wiring small office or workplace network connections
• Short patch connections in server racks and network cabinets

Key specifications

• Length: 0.5 m
• Category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individual pair braiding)
• Conductor material: copper (CU)
• Sheath: LSZH (halogen-free)
• Connectors: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Brand/Manufacturer: WENTRONIC / Goobay
• MPN: 68687
• EAN: 4040849686870

How to use

Plug the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding network ports on your devices (router, switch, PC). Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a reliable connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends, kinks and prolonged compression of the cable. Use the 0.5 m length for short patching and direct device-to-device links.

Recommendations

For optimal signal quality maintain separation from mains power cables and strong EMI sources. In rack installations, avoid excessive bending radius and secure cables with cable ties that do not pinch the sheath.
