Sieťový kábel Goobay 68693 RJ-45 Cat6 1 m čierny

The Goobay 68693 RJ-45 Cat6 networking cable is a 1 m black S/FTP (S-STP) Ethernet cable designed for reliable, high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. Constructed with copper conductors and a low-smoke halogen-free (LSZH) outer sheath, the cable offers stable signal quality and reduced emissions in case of fire. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure good contact and corrosion resistance for long-term use.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable supports reliable gigabit data transfer and reduces interference thanks to its S/FTP shielding. The copper conductor provides low electrical resistance for efficient signal transmission while the LSZH jacket minimizes harmful fumes in enclosed spaces. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve connector durability and contact quality, and the 1 m length keeps installations neat where short connections are required.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, switches, routers and network printers in home or small office setups
• Short patch connections in server cabinets or patch panels
• Wired connections for gaming consoles, smart TVs or streaming devices
• Temporary or permanent point-to-point Ethernet links where Cat6 performance is needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6 (S/FTP / S-STP)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold plating
• Conductor material: Copper (CU)
• Sheath: Low-smoke, halogen-free (LSZH)
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on a router, switch or modem. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Use the 1 m length for short-distance links such as between a desktop and wall socket, between patch panel and switch, or for tidy connections behind entertainment systems.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and tightly coiling the cable; maintain a gentle bend radius and keep the cable away from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large transformers or unshielded power cables. When installing in enclosed or public spaces, the LSZH sheath provides reduced smoke and corrosive gas emissions compared with standard PVC jackets.
