Sieťový kábel Goobay CAT 5e U/UTP 100m Čierna

The Goobay network cable CAT 5e U/UTP 100 m in black is designed for reliable data transmission over long distances and for use in demanding outdoor environments. The polyethylene outer sheath offers high resistance to weathering and UV radiation, making the cable suitable for garden installations, camping, mounting on building facades and for connecting surveillance cameras. With a 100 m length and U/UTP construction, the cable provides stable performance with minimal interference for typical Ethernet installations.

Advantages

The polyethylene sheath ensures long-term outdoor durability and UV resistance while the CAT 5e specification supports common Ethernet speeds and applications. The U/UTP design reduces electromagnetic interference without individual drain wires, and the 100 m spool length allows for extended runs without additional joins. The black colour is suitable for discreet outdoor routing.

Suitable for

• Outdoor network runs in gardens and yards
• Temporary or permanent installations at campsites
• Routing along building facades
• Connecting IP surveillance cameras

Key specifications

• Type: CAT 5e U/UTP network cable
• Length: 100 m
• Colour: Black
• Outer sheath: Polyethylene, weather- and UV-resistant
• Connectors: none (bare cable)

How to use

Cut the required cable length from the 100 m spool and strip the outer sheath according to the chosen termination method. Terminate the cable with appropriate RJ45 connectors or outdoor-rated keystone jacks, following standard T568A/T568B wiring schemes. When installing outdoors, avoid sharp bends and secure the cable with UV-resistant clips or ties. If the run is exposed to direct sunlight or mechanical stress, route the cable through conduit or protective tubing.

Recommendations

For best long-term performance outdoors, keep cable runs clear of strong heat sources and chemically aggressive environments. Use weatherproof connectors or junction boxes at outdoor termination points and test the link with a cable tester after installation to verify continuity and pair integrity.
