Sieťový kábel Goobay CAT 6 U/UTP RJ-45 Cat6 15 m čierny

The Goobay CAT 6 U/UTP RJ-45 networking cable, 15 m in length and finished in black, provides a stable wired connection for 10/100/1000 Mbit networks. It uses pair-sequence wiring according to EIA/TIA 568B and is equipped with RJ-45 connectors featuring 3 µ gold-plated pins. The cable construction includes U/UTP topology with a double outer jacket, integrated strain relief, and material properties that make it resistant to UV and water exposure.

Advantages

This CAT 6 cable supports data transfer rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and conforms to 10/100/1000Base-T(X) cabling technology. Gold-plated connector pins improve conductivity and reduce contact corrosion. The double outer jacket and strain relief increase mechanical durability, while UV- and water-resistant materials extend suitability for use in exposed indoor or sheltered outdoor installations.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections in homes and offices
• Connecting routers, switches, PCs and networked devices over distances up to 15 m
• Gigabit network setups (10/100/1000 Mbit)

Key specifications

• Cable length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Pair-sequence: EIA/TIA 568B
• Pin plating: 3 µ gold
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Shielding: U/UTP (unshielded pairs, overall jacket)
• Product colour: Black
• Durability features: double outer jacket, strain relief, UV- and water-resistant

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to a network device (router, switch, or PC) and the other RJ-45 connector to the corresponding port on the remote device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a reliable contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and mechanical stress on the strain relief; for best performance maintain gentle curves and avoid kinking.

Recommendations

For optimal performance in gigabit networks, use this Goobay CAT 6 cable for direct device-to-device connections and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines. If installed outdoors or in exposed areas, provide additional protection at connection points and avoid prolonged immersion despite the cable's water resistance.
