Sieťový kábel Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 3m purpurový S/FTP

Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 3m Magenta S/FTP is a 3 metre networking cable with S/FTP construction: each pair is screened with metal foil (PIMF) and the assembly has an overall braided shield. The cable follows the EIA/TIA 568 pair sequence, is equipped with gold-plated RJ-45 contacts and comes in a molded slim-line strain relief housing with a length indication on the boot. It is Cat 7 tested up to 600 MHz and is suitable for high-speed data transmission in home and office networks.

Advantages

The S/FTP design (pairs in metal foil plus overall braid) reduces crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable connections at higher frequencies. Gold-plated 50 µ contact surfaces improve corrosion resistance and contact reliability. The slim-line molded strain relief offers a secure connector transition and compatibility with patch panels, while the length marking on the boot simplifies installation and identification.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet links (Cat 7 applications)
• Office and home network cabling
• Patch panels and switch connections
• Environments with potential EMI where screened cable is preferred

Key specifications

• Cable length: 3 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Shielding: S/FTP — pairs in metal foil (PIMF) + braided outer shield
• Pair sequence: EIA/TIA 568
• Contact plating: 50 µ gold
• Colour: Magenta
• Category test: Cat 7 tested up to 600 MHz

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (switch, router or patch panel) and the other to the corresponding port on the paired device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it separate from mains power lines where possible to maintain shielding effectiveness. Use the length indication on the strain relief to verify cable length during installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid tight bending radii and strong mechanical stress at the connector. When installing in racks or patch panels, ensure the slim-line boot clears adjacent ports. Choose screened termination points to preserve the S/FTP shielding continuity.
