Sieťový kábel Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 5m purpurový S/FTP

The Goobay RJ-45 CAT7 5m Magenta S/FTP networking cable is a slim, 5-metre patch cable designed for high-speed wired connections. It features S/FTP construction with foil-screened twisted pairs (PIMF) and an overall braided outer shield, with pair sequencing compliant with EIA/TIA 568. The cable has molded RJ-45 connectors with slimline strain relief and a length indication on the relief. Contacts are plated with 50 µin gold and the cable is Cat7 tested up to 600 MHz.

Advantages

The S/FTP design (pairs in metal foil plus overall braid) reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Gold-plated 50 µin contacts improve corrosion resistance and connection reliability. A slimline molded strain relief ensures compatibility with patch panels and reduces stress at the connector; the integrated length marking simplifies cable management. Cat7 testing up to 600 MHz supports demanding network applications.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections in home and office networks
• Connections between switches, routers and patch panels
• Audio/video streaming and online gaming where stable wired links are needed
• Environments with increased electromagnetic interference requiring shielded cabling

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (pairs in metal foil, braided outer shield)
• Category: CAT7, tested up to 600 MHz
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, molded version with slimline strain relief
• Contacts: 50 µin gold plated
• Pair sequence: EIA/TIA 568 compliant
• Colour: Magenta

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device (PC, switch, router or patch panel) and the other connector into the corresponding port. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension; the molded strain relief reduces stress at the connector but avoid pulling on the cable itself. Verify link status on connected devices and test network speed if required.

Recommendations

For best performance keep cable runs within recommended Ethernet topology limits, avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines and use shielded ports or grounded patch panels where possible to maintain the effectiveness of the S/FTP shielding.
