Sieťový kábel Helos 263745 sivý 5 m Cat6a S/FTP

The Helos 263745 Grey 5m Cat6a S/FTP networking cable is a 5-metre patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in modern Ethernet networks. Built to Cat6a standards with S/FTP shielding, it reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk for reliable performance. Both ends use RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure stable conductivity and long-term contact resistance. The grey outer jacket provides a neutral appearance suitable for home and office installations.

Advantages

This Cat6a S/FTP cable offers improved signal integrity compared with lower-category cables due to enhanced shielding and twisted-pair construction. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors support consistent connections and corrosion resistance. The 5 m length balances reach and neat cable management for patching between switches, routers, and wall outlets. The grey TPE-style outer jacket combines flexibility with sufficient durability for typical indoor use.

Suitable for

• Connecting network devices such as switches, routers, NAS units and PCs within a room or rack
• High-speed Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over short to medium runs
• Home office, small business and standard commercial network patching

When it may not be suitable

This cable is intended for indoor structured cabling and patching; it is not rated or designed for direct burial, outdoor exposure without protection, or runs through plenum air spaces unless the jacket specifically meets those standards. For very long backbone runs beyond the typical 5 m patch length or for environments requiring special fire or UV resistance, a different cable type may be more appropriate.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (Class EA) performance
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield plus individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends with gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on devices such as a switch, router or computer until the latch clicks. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines to minimise interference. For neat installations, use cable ties or Velcro straps and maintain appropriate bend radius as recommended for Cat6a cabling to preserve performance.

What to consider before purchase

• Required cable length for your setup and potential need for extra slack
• Whether Cat6a shielding and 10 Gigabit support are necessary for your network speeds
• Environmental conditions (indoor use, need for plenum or outdoor-rated cable)

Recommendations

For best results, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable for patching between network equipment within racks or between wall outlets and devices. Keep cable runs short where possible and avoid tight bends or compressing the shield to maintain the cable's transmission characteristics.
