Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 5e SF/UTP 5 m

The Helos Cat 5e SF/UTP 5 m networking cable is a 5-metre Ethernet lead designed for reliable wired connections in home, office and industrial environments. Built to Cat5e specification with SF/UTP shielding and fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this bright yellow cable provides consistent performance for data transmission, reducing interference in crowded cable installations and making cable routing and identification straightforward.

Advantages

SF/UTP construction combines an overall foil shield with unshielded twisted pairs, offering improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables. The Cat5e standard supports high-speed data transfer suitable for common network applications while the 5 m length balances reach and signal quality for typical desk-to-switch connections. RJ-45 connectors ensure plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and other Ethernet-enabled devices. The yellow jacket improves visibility for quick identification in patch panels and cable bundles.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, printers and IP phones to network switches or routers
• Patch panel and rack installations in small offices or server rooms
• Wired network runs in residential setups for stable internet and media streaming
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is desirable

Key specifications

• Cable type: Cat5e SF/UTP (overall foil shield with unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Color: Yellow
• Use: Ethernet networking, up to Cat5e performance

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector securely into the network ports of the devices you want to connect, ensuring the latch clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and heavy kinks, and keep it away from strong sources of electrical noise where possible. For patch panel or rack installations, measure and position the cable so that slack is managed neatly; use cable ties or organizers to prevent strain at connector points. Test the connection after installation to confirm link status and negotiated speed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the cable in direct contact with high-voltage power lines and maintain gentle bend radii. Use the yellow color to mark or distinguish specific network segments in patch panels. If you require higher bandwidth or shielding for particularly noisy environments, consider Cat6 or fully shielded cable alternatives.
