Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6 S/FTP 0,25 m

The Helos Cat 6 S/FTP 0.25 m networking cable is a short, high-performance Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable data transfer in compact setups. Featuring S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 0.25 m black cable supports fast network links while limiting electromagnetic interference. Its short length makes it suitable for patch panels, switch-to-switch connections, or linking devices in densely packed racks and workspaces where minimal cable slack is important.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines overall foil screening with individually shielded pairs to reduce crosstalk and external interference, improving signal integrity for Cat 6 transmission. The RJ-45 terminations provide universal compatibility with standard Ethernet ports. The compact 0.25 m length reduces clutter and simplifies cable management in tight installations while maintaining consistent connection quality.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and routers in server rooms and closets
• Short links between devices in office desks or network cabinets
• High-density rack environments where minimal cable length is required
• Home network setups requiring a short, shielded Ethernet connection

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6
• Shielding: S/FTP (Overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Black

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your network device and the other into the corresponding port on a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Use the cable for short point-to-point links where a 0.25 m length is sufficient, avoiding unnecessary bending or sharp kinks that may damage the internal conductors or shielding.

Recommendations

For best performance, route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference such as power transformers or large electrical motors. Avoid tightly coiling the cable and maintain gentle bend radii near the connectors. Confirm that both connected devices support Cat 6 speeds to achieve expected throughput.
