Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6 S/FTP 0,25 m

The Helos Cat 6 S/FTP 0.25 m networking cable is a short patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data connections in confined spaces. With S/FTP shielding and standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 0.25 m cable supports Cat6 performance for local networking tasks where a compact, identifiable cable is required. The bright orange jacket aids visual routing and quick identification in patch panels, racks, or desk setups.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces external electromagnetic interference and crosstalk between pairs to maintain signal integrity at higher frequencies. The compact 0.25 m length minimizes excess cable clutter and improves airflow in dense installations. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with networking equipment and simplify installation without adapters.

Suitable for

• Short patch runs between adjacent ports in patch panels and switches
• Connecting devices on the same rack or within a single workstation
• Temporary test connections and lab setups where short, visible cables are preferable

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.25 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Outer jacket colour: Orange

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use this 0.25 m cable for close-proximity connections where excess cable length would cause clutter. When routing through panels or racks, avoid tight bends; follow standard bend-radius guidelines for Cat6 cables to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For best results, use the cable for short-distance links only and avoid running it alongside high-voltage power lines. Inspect connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if the jacket or shielding is compromised. The bright orange colour is useful for tagging and quick identification in multi-cable environments.
