Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 0,5 m zelený

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 0.5 m Green networking cable is a short patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections in compact setups. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and preserve signal integrity across connections. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors, and the cable's half-meter length is suitable for linking nearby devices while keeping cable clutter to a minimum. The green jacket provides visual identification in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs, improving protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded alternatives. The Cat 6a specification supports higher data rates and better performance margins for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over shorter runs. With compact 0.5 m length and standard RJ-45 plug terminations, the cable is simple to install and easy to route in dense rack or desk environments. The green color aids quick identification and organized cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting network equipment in server racks or patch panels where short patch leads are required
• Linking desktop PCs, switches, routers and access points in close proximity
• Structured cabling segments that require shielded cables to reduce interference
• Environments where color-coded cabling improves maintenance and organization

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 0.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Jacket colour: Green

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks to ensure a secure physical connection. Use the 0.5 m length to connect devices placed close together, such as between a switch and patch panel, or between a wall outlet and a desktop device. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors and do not stretch the cable beyond its length to maintain the integrity of the shielding and internal conductors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat 6a S/FTP cable in shielded or grounded installations when possible; ensure connected hardware supports the desired Ethernet speed (for example, 10 Gbit/s over appropriate link lengths). Keep the cable routed away from high-power electrical sources and avoid tight coiling or repeated mechanical stress to preserve long-term signal quality.
