Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1,5 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1.5 m networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. With a 1.5 meter length and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable provides reliable physical links between network devices where enhanced signal integrity and reduced interference are required. The S/FTP construction combines an overall braid shield with individually foil-shielded pairs to improve protection against electromagnetic interference, while the white jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding reduces crosstalk and external noise, supporting consistent throughput in environments with dense cabling or electronic equipment. Cat 6a specification enables higher bandwidth and improved performance compared with lower category cables, making it suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short to moderate distances. The fixed 1.5 m length simplifies planning for desktop, rack, or wall-mounted connections and the RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with standard network ports.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops, switches, and routers in offices or home networks
• Wiring between patch panels and network equipment in racks
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, VoIP, and file transfer
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is important

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 1.5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Color: White

How to use

Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on the devices to be connected, ensuring a firm click to confirm the connector latch engages. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and stress on the connectors; maintain gentle radii when bending. For rack or wall installations, secure the cable with appropriate clips or ties without compressing the shielding. If connecting through patch panels, insert into the panel port and test the link with a network tester to verify continuity and performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the Helos Cat 6a S/FTP cable parallel to power cables for long stretches and keep bend radius greater than four times the cable diameter. Use certified testing equipment after installation to confirm 10 Gigabit Ethernet capability and correct pair termination.
