Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1 m networking cable is a one-metre blue patch cable designed for Ethernet connections requiring improved shielding and high-speed performance. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pair) configuration and terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends, the cable is intended to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference while supporting applications that demand reliable data transfer.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction provides individual pair shielding plus an overall foil shield, improving resistance to near-end and far-end crosstalk compared with unshielded cables. The Cat 6a specification supports higher bandwidth and throughput suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short to moderate distances. A one-metre length minimises excess cable in patching environments and helps maintain a neat workstation or rack setup. The standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network equipment.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting switches, patch panels and wall outlets within server rooms and network cabinets
• Desktop or workstation connections where a short, reliable Ethernet link is required
• Home and small office local area network (LAN) setups demanding reduced interference
• Temporary or permanent patching in telecom closets and patch bays

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Blue
• Application: Ethernet networking, supports 10 Gbps at appropriate channel conditions

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (switch, router, NIC or patch panel) and the other RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port on the destination device. Ensure connectors click into place for a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable without sharp bends or kinks and avoid running it parallel and close to strong electrical sources to maintain shielding effectiveness. For rack or patch-panel installations, use appropriate cable management to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use this 1 m Helos Cat 6a S/FTP cable for short patch connections where reduced interference and higher bandwidth are required. Verify connector seating and periodically inspect the cable for damage; replace if shielding or connectors are compromised. For longer runs, choose appropriate cable lengths and consider permanent in-wall or conduit-rated cabling that meets local installation standards.
