Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 1 m networking cable is a single-meter Ethernet patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in structured cabling and short-distance connections. Constructed to Cat6a standard and using S/FTP shielding, the cable provides improved signal integrity and reduced electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and finished in a visible orange colour, this cable is intended for professional and home network setups where performance and easy identification are required.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to limit crosstalk and external interference, supporting stable throughput at higher frequencies. The Cat6a specification enables the cable to handle 10 Gbps Ethernet over short distances while maintaining backward compatibility with lower category devices. A 1 m length minimizes excess slack in patching environments and the orange jacket improves visibility in cable management contexts.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, patch panels and wall outlets in racks and cabinets
• Short-run connections between network devices and workstations
• Environments with moderate electromagnetic interference where shielding is beneficial
• Situations requiring color-coded cabling for easy identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 1 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Color: Orange
• Intended use: Ethernet networking, patching

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port on network devices such as switches, routers or wall jacks until the latch clicks. Ensure connectors are fully seated and strain on the cable is minimized by routing it through cable management guides or behind equipment. For shielded installations, verify that device ports and patch panels support or are compatible with shielded cabling to preserve the grounding path and shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

Place the cable away from high-power electrical lines to reduce potential interference, and avoid tight bends or excessive tension that could damage the internal conductors. Use the short 1 m length for tidy patching in racks, patch panels or between nearby devices; for longer runs, select an appropriately rated cable. When installing in environments requiring full shield continuity, ensure proper termination and grounding practices are followed.
