Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 10 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 10 m networking cable is a shielded twisted-pair patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. With S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, this 10-metre cable supports enhanced data transmission and reduced interference in structured cabling environments. The yellow jacket provides clear visual identification in patch panels and cable runs, suitable for home and office networks where consistent performance and straightforward installation are required.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually foil-shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, improving signal integrity at higher frequencies typical for Cat 6a. The cable’s RJ-45 terminations allow plug-and-play compatibility with standard networking equipment. A 10 m length gives flexibility for connecting devices across rooms or between patch panels without excessive slack. The yellow outer sheath aids organisation and quick identification in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections within a single floor or room
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels, and workstations
• Structured cabling where reduced interference is required
• Home offices and small-to-medium business network setups

Key specifications

• Category: Cat 6a (augmented)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + foil‑shielded pairs)
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: Yellow outer jacket

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network device (switch, router, or NIC) and the other plug to the corresponding port on the patch panel or endpoint device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until a click is heard to secure the latch. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, kinks, or runs parallel to strong power sources to maintain shielding effectiveness. If needed, label each end to match network documentation and simplify future maintenance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius, keep it away from high-power electrical cables, and use compatible Cat 6a‑rated patch panels and keystone jacks. Periodically inspect connectors for damage and replace the cable if shielding or jacket integrity is compromised.
