Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 10 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 10 m networking cable is a 10-metre copper patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. It features S/FTP (shielded with foil around each pair and an overall braid) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and comes terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The cable's green jacket provides visual identification in structured cabling environments while supporting applications that require reliable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit performance over short to medium distances.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding improves signal integrity in environments with multiple nearby cables or electronic equipment. The Cat 6a specification enables higher bandwidth and reduced alien crosstalk compared with lower category cables, making it suitable for demanding network traffic. Pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors allow immediate installation without additional termination tools. The 10 m length offers flexibility in desk-to-switch or patch panel connections while the green colour aids cable management and quick visual routing.

Suitable for

• Connecting workstations, laptops or networked devices to switches or patch panels
• Office and home Ethernet installations requiring shielded cabling
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, VoIP and large file transfers
• Structured cabling where colour-coded cables simplify maintenance and identification

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (foil around each pair + overall braid)
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, pre-terminated
• Conductor type: twisted pair copper
• Colour: green jacket

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device (for example a computer, switch or router) and the other connector into the corresponding port on the opposite device or patch panel. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling during installation; maintain gentle loops and secure the cable with appropriate cable ties or routing clips to prevent strain on the connectors. For best performance, keep the cable separated from large power cables and sources of strong electromagnetic interference when possible.

Recommendations

Use this Cat 6a S/FTP cable for short to medium runs up to 10 m where shielded performance is beneficial. Verify that connected network equipment supports the required speeds and that grounding or equipotential bonding is in place when using shielded cables in professional installations.
