Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 15 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 15 m networking cable is a 15-metre, shielded twisted-pair Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired connections. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction, this red cable provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference and crosstalk compared with unshielded alternatives. It is intended for structured network installations and point-to-point connections where Cat 6a performance is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with individual foil-wrapped pairs to reduce external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, which supports more reliable data transmission at higher frequencies. A 15 m length offers flexibility for longer runs between devices without additional patch panels or intermediate connectors. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network equipment. The red jacket helps visually identify specific runs in multi-cable environments and makes cable routing and troubleshooting more efficient.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• High-speed Ethernet links in offices, server rooms and home networks
• Connections between switches, routers and patch panels over a 15 m span
• Applications requiring reduced electromagnetic interference, such as near power lines or dense cable bundles
• Structured cabling where color-coded identification is useful

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a (augmented performance for 10 Gigabit Ethernet)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braid plus individually foiled pairs
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Conductor type: twisted pair
• Jacket colour: red

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a network device such as a switch, router or network interface port and the other end to the corresponding device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to establish a secure connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends, tight coils and locations with strong electromagnetic sources to preserve shielding effectiveness. For permanent installations, use appropriate cable management hardware to support the cable and prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance at 10 Gigabit speeds, keep the cable run within recommended maximum lengths for structured cabling and avoid excessive bending radius. When deploying multiple cables, maintain separation from power-carrying conductors where possible to minimize interference. Inspect RJ-45 connectors for damage before use and replace the cable if the jacket or shielding is compromised.
