Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 15 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 15 m networking cable provides a 15-meter connection with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for high-speed wired networks, this cable supports applications that demand increased bandwidth and reduced electromagnetic interference. The magenta jacket offers a distinctive visual identifier for cable management in mixed environments while maintaining standard Cat 6a performance characteristics.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually foiled pairs to reduce crosstalk and protect signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. The Cat 6a specification permits higher frequencies and improved headroom for gigabit and multi-gigabit Ethernet links. Pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure easy installation and compatibility with standard network ports. The 15 m length covers typical room-to-room or rack-to-desk runs without the need for additional couplers.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Wired Ethernet connections for home networks and small offices
• Connecting switches, routers, patch panels, and networked devices
• High-bandwidth applications such as 1G/2.5G/10G Ethernet where supported by hardware
• Cable runs that require visual identification for organization or troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Magenta

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your router, switch, or modem and the other RJ-45 connector to the target device such as a PC, NAS, or access point. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and avoid running parallel and close to sources of strong electromagnetic interference, such as unshielded power cables and large motors. For permanent installations, use cable clips or ties to maintain neat runs and prevent stress on the connectors.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, use the Helos Cat 6a S/FTP cable in conjunction with compatible shielded network equipment and maintain recommended bend radius (typically four times the cable diameter). Test connections after installation with a network tester or link status indicators on your devices to verify proper signal levels and negotiated speeds.
