Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 20 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 20 m networking cable is a 20-metre white Ethernet cable designed for structured cabling and high-speed data transmission. Constructed to Category 6a standards with S/FTP shielding, it reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk to sustain reliable gigabit and 10 Gigabit network connections. Both ends are terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors for plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers, patch panels and networked devices.

Advantages

The S/FTP design combines an overall braided shield with individually foil-shielded pairs to provide enhanced protection against external noise and pair-to-pair interference. The 20 m length supports flexible cable routing for home and office installations while maintaining signal integrity over longer runs. A white outer jacket offers a neutral appearance suitable for visible installations and easy identification. Standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common Ethernet hardware without the need for adapters.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks connecting routers, switches and NAS devices
• Office desktop and workstation connections to local area networks
• Patching between wall outlets and patch panels in structured cabling
• High-bandwidth applications such as streaming, video conferencing and file transfers

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil‑shielded pairs)
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 on both ends
• Colour: White
• Supported speeds: suitable for gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over appropriate channel lengths

How to use

Uncoil the cable and route it along the desired path, avoiding sharp bends and tight kinks. Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding port on your network equipment until it clicks into place. When running the cable through walls or conduit, ensure the bend radius is maintained and the jacket is not damaged. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines for long distances.

Recommendations

For reliable 10 Gigabit performance, keep total channel length within recommended limits for Cat 6a and pair the cable with properly shielded connectors and patch panels. Use cable management accessories to prevent stress on connectors and maintain airflow in equipment racks.
