Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 3 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 3 m networking cable is a shielded Ethernet cable designed to provide reliable wired connectivity for home and office networks. With a 3 meter length and S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair) shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while supporting high-speed data transmission through standard RJ-45 connectors on both ends. The cable conforms to Cat6a performance characteristics to support demanding network applications and ensure stable connections between devices.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding improves signal integrity in environments with potential electromagnetic interference, delivering more consistent throughput than unshielded alternatives. The Cat 6a specification enables higher bandwidth and better performance for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links over shorter distances. Built-in RJ-45 connectors provide broad compatibility with switches, routers, computers, gaming consoles, and other networked devices. The 3 m length offers a balance between reach and cable management, reducing excess slack while connecting devices across a desk or within a small room.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs or workstations to a router or network switch
• Wired connections for gaming consoles and media players
• Short-run links between network equipment in small offices or home networks
• High-speed data transfer requirements such as file sharing and streaming

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (screened foil twisted pair)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Suitable for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other connector into a router, switch, or another network device. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to establish a secure physical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For best performance, avoid running the cable parallel to mains power cables over long distances and keep the cable untwisted at the connectors as little as possible.

Recommendations

Use the Helos Cat 6a S/FTP cable for installations that benefit from improved shielding, such as setups near power supplies, monitors, or other electronic equipment. For permanent installations, verify connector strain relief and secure cable routing; for frequent reconnections, inspect connectors for wear and replace the cable if performance degrades.
