Sieťový kábel Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 5 m

The Helos Cat 6a S/FTP 5 m networking cable is a 5-meter shielded twisted pair Ethernet cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. It features S/FTP shielding (overall braid with individually foiled pairs) to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends for plug-and-play compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and patch panels. The cable’s green jacket provides a distinct visual identifier for organized cabling in home or office environments.

Advantages

S/FTP construction improves signal integrity in environments with multiple cables and electronic devices, supporting stable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet links where infrastructure and devices allow. The pre-terminated RJ-45 connectors simplify installation without crimping tools. A 5 m length offers flexibility for typical workstation, entertainment center or network closet connections while avoiding excess cable slack.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PCs, switches and routers in home networks
• Patch connections in office network cabinets and patch panels
• Connecting gaming consoles, smart TVs and media players to a wired network
• Short to medium runs where reduced interference and clear cable identification are required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat 6a (augmented Category 6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, pre-terminated
• Colour: Green

How to use

Uncoil the Helos Cat 6a cable and route it between the two network endpoints, avoiding tight bends and sharp kinks. Plug each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on devices such as a router, switch, PC or media player until the latch clicks into place. For optimal performance, keep the cable away from strong electrical noise sources such as unshielded power cabling or large motors. If used in a rack or patch panel, label both ends to match network documentation.

Recommendations

Use this Cat 6a S/FTP cable for installations where reduced crosstalk and improved immunity to external interference matter. Maintain minimum bend radius and avoid excessive stretching. For longer runs or cable routing through walls, verify local building codes and consider using plenum-rated or in-wall certified alternatives if required.
