Sieťový kábel Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 10 m

The Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 10m is a shielded network cable designed for reliable twisted-pair Ethernet connections. This 10-metre cable meets the Cat5e standard and includes SF/UTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference while maintaining consistent signal transmission. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and finished in blue, the cable is suitable for visible installations in home and office networks and for connecting switches, routers, computers and networked devices that support Cat5e performance.

Advantages

SF/UTP shielding provides protection against external interference, improving stability in environments with potential electromagnetic noise. The Cat5e standard supports high-speed data transmission suitable for typical LAN tasks. RJ-45 connectors on both ends ensure broad compatibility with standard networking equipment. The 10 m length offers flexibility for room-to-room connections without intermediate patch panels, and the blue jacket makes cable identification easier in structured cabling setups.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Wired Ethernet connections between PC, router and switch within a home or office
• Connecting networked printers, NAS devices and media players
• Patch connections in small server closets or office desks
• Temporary or permanent installations where a 10 m reach is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Shielding: SF/UTP (overall foil + unshielded twisted pairs)
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Colour: Blue

How to use

Uncoil the cable and avoid tight bends or kinks to preserve signal quality. Insert the RJ-45 plug firmly into the Ethernet port of your device until it clicks. Ensure both ends are securely seated in the ports of the router, switch or computer. For wall-mounted or concealed runs, route the cable following building regulations and avoid running parallel to high-voltage power lines to reduce interference. Test the connection using network diagnostics or a link/activity LED on connected equipment to confirm successful installation.

Recommendations

For best results, use the Helos CAT5e SF/UTP 10m for typical LAN speeds up to those supported by Cat5e cabling and keep cable runs within recommended bend radius. When installing near potential sources of electromagnetic interference, verify shielding continuity by ensuring connectors and patch panels maintain the cable's overall shield connection.
