Sieťový kábel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 10 m purpurový

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 10m Magenta networking cable is designed for structured Ethernet installations and point-to-point connections requiring Gigabit performance. This 10-metre cable uses CAT6 construction with S/FTP (shielded foil over twisted pairs plus overall braid) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Fitted with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and terminated for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) operation, it provides a straightforward solution for desktop connections, switches, routers and other networked devices where stable, high-speed data transmission is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against external noise and internal pair-to-pair interference compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting more consistent signal integrity in electrically noisy environments. The 10-metre length offers flexibility for typical office and home layouts without excessive slack. The cable’s magenta colour makes it easy to identify in multi-cable installations and helps with visual cable management. Standard RJ-45 termination ensures compatibility with common networking equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops or VoIP phones to a network switch
• Linking switches and patch panels within wiring closets
• Short-run Gigabit Ethernet connections in office and home networks
• Cabling where shielded twisted pair is preferred to reduce interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (individual foil around each pair plus overall braid)
• Length: 10 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Supported cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Magenta

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the Ethernet port of your device and the other end to a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure both connected devices support the intended network speed and that ports are configured for auto-negotiation or the correct fixed speed. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; secure it with clips or ties as needed for a tidy installation. When used with shielded infrastructure, ensure proper grounding of equipment and patch panels to maintain shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

Use the Helos CAT6 S/FTP cable for short to medium runs where Gigabit performance and reduced interference are important. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to high-voltage power lines for extended distances; keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s minimum to prevent performance degradation. For installations requiring PoE, verify device compatibility and power budgets.
