Sieťový kábel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 3 m purpurový

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) networking cable is a 3 m magenta patch cable designed for gigabit Ethernet environments. Constructed to the CAT6 specification with S/FTP (PIMF) shielding, the cable combines individually foil-shielded twisted pairs and an overall braid to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Both ends are terminated with RJ-45 connectors to provide a straightforward connection between network devices such as switches, routers, patch panels and desktop computers.

Advantages

This CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) cable supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X) data rates and is built to maintain signal integrity over its 3 meter length. The combination of pair-level foil and overall braid shielding improves resistance to interference in shared cable runs and crowded rack environments, while the standard RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with common network ports. The magenta colour provides clear visual identification for structured cabling and simplifies cable management.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches and patch panels in small to medium network racks
• Linking desktop PCs or workstations to network outlets
• Short-range gigabit Ethernet connections in office or home networks
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP (pair individually foil-shielded with overall braid)
• Length: 3 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Supported cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Colour: Magenta

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network port until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Use the cable for linking network devices at distances up to 3 metres while ensuring connectors are fully seated and ports are free of debris. For permanent installations, route the cable along designated cable trays or through cable management channels to avoid sharp bends and excessive tension that could impair performance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid running the S/FTP cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines and maintain bend radii greater than four times the cable diameter. Verify link speed and duplex settings on connected devices after installation and use coloured patch cords like magenta to mark specific VLANs or service types in structured cabling.
