Sieťový kábel Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 5 m purpurový

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP (PIMF) 5m Magenta networking cable is a 5-metre patch cable engineered for gigabit Ethernet environments. It features S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs, also referred to as PIMF) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends, enabling reliable 10/100/1000Base-T(X) data transmission. The magenta outer jacket identifies the cable visually and provides a flexible, durable sheath suitable for home and office installations.

Advantages

Shielding around the full cable and around each twisted pair reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable high-speed performance over the full 5 m length. The CAT6 specification supports gigabit networks and improved headroom for higher frequency signals compared to older cable categories. Factory-terminated RJ-45 plugs ensure consistent contact and fast, tool-free connection to network devices.

Suitable for

• Wired home networks connecting routers, switches and desktop PCs
• Office workstations and small office network segments
• Patch panels and structured cabling within wiring closets
• Audio/video streaming and IP-based devices requiring stable Gigabit links

Key specifications

• Cable category: CAT6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs / PIMF)
• Length: 5 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Supported cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Outer jacket colour: Magenta
• Conductor type: Twisted pair

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to your network device (router, switch or PC) and the other to the corresponding port on the remote device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and latched to establish a secure physical connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal signal quality. For structured installations, label both ends to match your network documentation.

Recommendations

Install in indoor environments and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or moisture. For longer runs or where additional future-proofing is required, consider selecting higher-category cables or fibre solutions. When connecting through patch panels or keystone jacks, verify that panel termination and cable type are compatible with CAT6 performance requirements.
