Sieťový kábel Helos CAT6 S/FTP RJ-45 Cat6 5 m červený

The Helos CAT6 S/FTP RJ-45 Cat6 5m Red networking cable is designed for reliable Gigabit Ethernet connections over a 5 meter length. Featuring RJ-45 terminations on both ends and S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs) shielding, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, supporting stable data transfer for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks. The red jacket provides clear visual identification within rack, office or home network installations.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP construction minimizes external noise and pair-to-pair interference, improving signal integrity in environments with nearby power lines or multiple network cables. Category 6 specification supports Gigabit Ethernet performance and is suitable for high-speed data, voice and video applications. Durable RJ-45 connectors and a 5 m length offer ready-to-use connectivity between devices without additional adapters or patch panels for short runs.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers within small office or home networks
• Patch connections in network racks and wall outlets where short runs are required
• Audio/video streaming and VoIP systems requiring stable Gigabit links
• Temporary setups for events or testing where color-coded cabling simplifies management

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling standard: Category 6 (Cat6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Supported speeds: 10/100/1000Base-T(X) (Gigabit Ethernet)
• Colour: Red

How to use

Identify the network ports on your devices and fully insert each RJ-45 connector until it clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it separated from strong power sources to maintain shielding effectiveness. For patching in racks or through wall plates, use the 5 m length for short horizontal runs or desktop connections; if terminating into keystone jacks, use factory-terminated ends as supplied to avoid manual crimping.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid sharp bends and compressions of the cable, and maintain distance from large electrical cables. Use the red colour to mark specific network segments or device groups for easier identification during maintenance. Periodically inspect connectors for dust or damage and replace the cable if connectors become loose or performance degrades.
