Sieťový kábel Helos CAT6a S/FTP (PIMF) 20 m

The Helos CAT6a S/FTP (PIMF) 20m networking cable is a 20-metre Ethernet cable designed for high-speed wired networks. It supports data transfer rates up to 10000 Mbit/s and uses 10GBase-T cabling technology. The cable features SF/UTP shielding (S/FTP, PIMF) to reduce electromagnetic interference and improve signal integrity. Both ends are fitted with standard RJ-45 connectors and the outer jacket is grey.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) construction provides individual foil shielding around each pair plus an overall braided shield, which lowers crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. Support for 10GBase-T and a 20 m length makes this cable suitable for backbone links, server connections or workstations requiring high bandwidth. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common network devices and switches, while the grey jacket offers a neutral appearance for structured cabling installations.

Suitable for

• 10GBase-T network connections between switches, servers and patch panels
• High-bandwidth workstation connections and office LAN setups
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is preferred
• Structured cabling runs in data closets and wiring ducts up to 20 metres

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 m
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Maximum data rate: 10000 Mbit/s
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individual pair foil, PIMF)
• Connectors: RJ-45 — both ends
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to a network switch, router or network interface on a server or workstation and the other end to the corresponding network port or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable avoiding tight bends, kinks and proximity to high-voltage power lines to preserve shielding effectiveness. For permanent installations, secure the cable in clips or cable management systems and leave a service loop for future retermination.

Recommendations

Use the Helos CAT6a S/FTP cable for links up to 20 m where 10 Gbit/s performance and reduced interference are required. Avoid running the cable parallel to mains power cables over long distances; if crossing is necessary, do so at right angles. Terminate and test connections with appropriate network testers to verify continuity, pair mapping and performance.
