Sieťový kábel Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6 20 m

The Networking Cable Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6 20m is a 20-meter Ethernet patch cable with S/FTP (Shielded Foiled Twisted Pair with Pair-wise Inner Metal Foil) construction and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. Designed for 10/100/1000Base-T(X) networks, this orange CAT 6 cable provides a longer reach for wired connections while offering improved electromagnetic interference protection through its S/FTP shielding. The integrated RJ-45 terminations ensure compatibility with standard network ports and switches.

Advantages

The S/FTP (PIMF) shielding reduces crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables, helping to maintain signal integrity over the full 20 m length. CAT 6 performance supports gigabit Ethernet speeds on compatible equipment. The cable’s orange color improves visibility in patch panels, cable runs and crowded racks, making identification and troubleshooting simpler. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable plug-and-play installation.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops and workstations to network switches or routers
• Patch panel to switch connections in small offices and server rooms
• Gigabit Ethernet links for multimedia streaming and file transfer
• Environments where reduced electromagnetic interference is required

Key specifications

• Cable type: S/FTP (PIMF) shielded twisted pair
• Category: CAT 6
• Length: 20 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Cabling technology: 10/100/1000Base-T(X)
• Color: Orange

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the network port of your device and the other to a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure both endpoints are fully inserted until the connector clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling; maintain bend radii consistent with typical network cable handling to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. For installations in mixed cable environments, position the cable to minimize parallel runs alongside power lines.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within typical indoor network deployments and avoid running it near high-voltage power lines. Verify that connected equipment supports 1000Base-T for gigabit speeds. When installing in structured cabling systems, label both ends and keep the 20 m length free from tight coils to maintain signal quality.
