Sieťový kábel Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a 20 m

The Helos S/FTP (PIMF) CAT 6a networking cable, 20 m long, is designed for high-speed Ethernet environments where stable performance and minimized electromagnetic interference are required. With support for data transfer rates up to 10,000 Mbit/s and 10GBase-T cabling technology, this cable connects devices using RJ-45 connectors on both ends and is finished in a yellow jacket for easy visual identification in wiring runs.

Advantages

S/FTP (Shielded/Foiled Twisted Pair with PIMF) construction provides improved protection against crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded cables. The CAT 6a specification ensures reliable transmission at 10GBase-T speeds over short to medium distances. Factory-terminated RJ-45 connectors on both ends simplify installation and reduce the need for field termination. The yellow outer sheath helps with cable management and quick visual routing in network racks and patch panels.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in offices and data closets
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, file servers, and virtualization
• Structured cabling runs where reduced interference is required
• Home networks requiring future-proofed performance and clear cable identification

Key specifications

• Cable length: 20 m
• Cabling technology: 10GBase-T
• Maximum data rate: up to 10,000 Mbit/s
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Outer colour: Yellow

How to use

Route the 20 m Helos CAT 6a cable between network devices or patch panels taking care to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference where possible. Insert the RJ-45 plugs firmly into corresponding ports until the latch clicks. For permanent installations, secure the cable along trays or conduits using appropriate clips or ties, ensuring bend radius and tensile limits are respected. Test the link with a network tester that supports 10GBase-T to verify continuity and performance after installation.

Recommendations

Maintain separation from power cabling and large electrical equipment to preserve shielding effectiveness. Use certified testers to confirm 10G performance and re-route or re-terminate if near-end crosstalk or return loss limits are exceeded. Store unused cable coiled loosely and protected from sunlight and moisture.
