InLine® Cat.7 installation cables with S/FTP construction (PiMF) and AWG23 conductors made of copper-coated aluminium offer a powerful and economical solution for professional network projects. With a transmission frequency of up to 600 MHz and a permanent link length of up to 70 metres, the cables are ideal for structured building cabling in residential and commercial properties.
Thanks to their support for IEEE 802.3af (PoE) and 802.3at (PoE+), the cables enable power-supply devices to be operated directly via the network – without additional power cables. The double shielding consisting of aluminium foil (≥25%) and aluminium-magnesium braiding (≥30%) ensures stable and reliable signal transmission even in interference-prone environments.
The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) sheath material used complies with CPR classification Eca and thus offers increased safety in the event of fire. The orange sheathing also ensures quick identification during installation.

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network port of your switch, router or patch panel and the other plug to the device requiring network access. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to provide reliable contact. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and keep it clear of high-voltage power lines to reduce interference. For rack installations, use cable management accessories to maintain order and prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.7 cable for short patch runs and in areas with increased electromagnetic noise.
