Sieťový kábel LogiLink Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 5 m sivý

The LogiLink Cat.6 S/FTP RJ-45 5m Grey networking cable provides a 5 metre link for high-speed Ethernet connections. Constructed with S/FTP (shielded Foiled Twisted Pair with overall braid) and PIMF (pairs in metal foil) shielding over bare copper conductors, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and supports reliable data transmission. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and uses a LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket for reduced smoke and toxic gas emission in case of fire.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding and PIMF pair protection improve signal integrity in environments with potential interference. The bare copper conductors provide stable electrical performance, while the Cat.6 standard supports higher frequencies and data rates compared with lower category cables. The LSZH jacket minimises harmful smoke and halogen release, and the 5 m length offers flexibility for typical office and home installations.

Suitable for

• Wired Ethernet connections (up to Cat.6 performance)
• Connecting routers, switches, computers and network devices
• Office and home network cabling where interference protection is needed

Key specifications

• Length: 5 m
• Cable type: Cat.6 S/FTP (PIMF)
• Conductor: bare copper
• Wire gauge: AWG 27/7
• Connector: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Jacket: LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen)
• Standards: ISO/IEC 11801, EN50288, TIA/EIA 568-B.2-1
• Weight: 160 g
• Colour: Grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your router, switch or device and the other end into the corresponding port of the destination device. Ensure connectors click into place for a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and physical damage; maintain bend radius recommended for Cat.6 cables to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat.6 S/FTP cable in installations where electromagnetic interference is present or likely. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines and keep connectors free from dust. For permanent in-wall installations, verify local building codes and use appropriate conduit if required.
