Sieťový kábel METZ CONNECT 13084H1077-E 1 m Cat8.1 S/FTP žltý

The METZ CONNECT 13084H1077-E 1m Cat8.1 S/FTP Yellow networking cable is designed for high-speed data transmission in professional network environments. This Cat8.1 cable uses S/FTP shielding to minimise external interference and pair-to-pair crosstalk, and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors for compatibility with standard network equipment. With a length of 1 metre and a bright yellow jacket, the cable provides a compact, visible connection option for server rooms, patch panels and high-density network installations.

Advantages

The shielded S/FTP construction offers improved electromagnetic protection compared with unshielded alternatives, supporting stable transmissions at higher frequencies. The Cat8.1 specification enables significantly increased bandwidth and supports data rates up to 40000 Mbit/s, useful for demanding networking tasks. The 1 m length reduces excess cable clutter in rack and patching scenarios, while the yellow outer jacket improves cable identification and routing visibility in complex installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed and low-latency server connections
• Patch panels and switch-to-switch links in data centres
• Short-distance backbone and aggregation links
• Environments requiring shielded cabling for EMI protection
• Visible cable routing and colour-coded network infrastructures

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding type: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Length: 1 m
• Outer jacket colour: yellow

How to use

Connect the RJ-45 plugs to compatible network ports on switches, routers, servers or patch panels. Ensure both ends are fully inserted and the locking clip is engaged for a secure connection. Use the 1 m cable to bridge short distances within racks or between adjacent devices, avoiding sharp bends and excessive tensile stress. When installing in environments with multiple cables, route the yellow cable visibly to simplify identification and maintenance.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat8.1 S/FTP cable in shielded or properly grounded installations to maintain the effectiveness of the shielding. Avoid running the cable parallel to high-power electrical lines for extended distances and maintain bend radii recommended by networking equipment manufacturers. Regularly inspect connectors for damage and ensure terminations are clean for reliable high-speed operation.
