Sieťový kábel METZ CONNECT 141N113K13K50 Cat6 S/FTP 5m žltý

The METZ CONNECT 141N113K13K50 Cat6 S/FTP networking cable in yellow is a 5 meter patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission between networked devices. Constructed to Cat6 specification with S/FTP shielding, the cable minimizes electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while maintaining stable signal quality over typical horizontal runs. Both ends terminate in gold-plated RJ-45 plugs for consistent connectivity and reduced contact resistance. The yellow jacket provides clear visual identification in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding around each pair with an overall foil and braided screen delivers improved protection against external noise sources compared with unshielded cables. Cat6 construction supports higher bandwidth and tighter performance tolerances than Cat5e, allowing improved throughput for gigabit Ethernet and some 10GBASE-T applications at shorter distances. The 5 m length offers a balance between reach and manageable cable routing, and the color-coded outer jacket simplifies organization in racks and desktop setups.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops, NAS and printers to a network switch or router
• Structured cabling in small office or home office (SOHO) environments
• Patch connections in wiring closets and network cabinets
• Audio-visual setups and media players requiring stable Ethernet links

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 (performance to support gigabit Ethernet and improved bandwidth)
• Shielding: S/FTP (shielded foil twisted pairs with overall braid)
• Length: 5 meters
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs on both ends, gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: Yellow for easy identification
• Conductor: Solid or stranded copper (suitable for patch applications)

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors click into place to confirm a secure mechanical and electrical contact. For optimal performance avoid tight bends and kinks in the cable, and keep the cable run away from large sources of electromagnetic interference when possible. After connection, verify link status on the connected devices and perform network tests if necessary to confirm expected throughput.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for short to medium patch runs where reduced interference is required. For installations requiring compliance with shielded cabling practices, ensure proper grounding of shielded components. Replace the cable if connectors are damaged or if performance degrades over time.
