Sieťový kábel METZ CONNECT 142M4D15100 RJ-45 M12 Cat5e 10 m zelený

The METZ CONNECT 142M4D15100 RJ-45 M12 Cat5e 10 m Green is a 10 meter network patch cable that combines an RJ-45 connector with an M12 connector and complies with Cat5e performance standards. Designed for reliable Ethernet signal transmission in industrial and commercial environments, this green cable provides a visible, color-coded option for structured cabling, device connections, and network extensions where space or connector type requires an M12 interface.

Advantages

This Cat5e cable delivers stable data transmission at the rated category performance and features a robust construction suited for repeated connections. The combination of RJ-45 and M12 connectors enables compatibility between standard network devices and equipment that use circular M12 interfaces. Its 10 m length offers flexibility for longer runs without intermediate patching, and the green jacket provides easy identification in cable bundles and network racks.

Suitable for

• Connecting standard Ethernet devices to industrial equipment with M12 ports
• Network extensions between cabinets, control units, and field devices
• Structured cabling where color-coded identification is required
• Temporary or permanent links in office, factory, or automation environments

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat5e
• Length: 10 m
• Connector A: RJ-45
• Connector B: M12 circular connector
• Jacket colour: Green

How to use

Inspect both connectors and ports for damage or debris before installation. Plug the RJ-45 end into the Ethernet port of a switch, router, or device and secure the M12 connector into the mating M12 socket on industrial equipment or field devices, ensuring the connector is properly tightened where applicable. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinch points, or sources of excessive heat and secure it with appropriate cable management accessories. Test the link after installation to verify connectivity and correct data rates.

Recommendations

Use this cable where an M12 interface is required on one end and a standard RJ-45 on the other. For installations in harsh environments, verify that the mating M12 connector and device meet required ingress protection and mechanical specifications. Avoid running the cable alongside high-voltage power lines to reduce interference and maintain signal integrity.
