Sieťový kábel ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP biely 20 m

The ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP White 20 m is a shielded network patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in professional and residential environments. With a total length of 20 meters and S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs) construction, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while supporting 10 Gigabit Ethernet and backward compatibility with earlier Ethernet standards. The cable is fitted with screened RJ-45 connectors on both ends and is finished in white for unobtrusive installation in offices or homes.

Advantages

The cable uses a 4-pair stranded copper conductor design with complete braid shielding and pairs wrapped in aluminium-clad polyester foil, providing consistent signal integrity in environments with potential interference. Screened RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts and moulded kink protection ensure reliable terminations, low contact resistance, and mechanical durability. The flexible construction allows routing through confined spaces and cable channels while maintaining the electrical performance expected from Cat6a cabling.

Suitable for

• Structured cabling between switches, patch panels and network endpoints in office environments
• 10 Gigabit Ethernet links where shielded cabling is required
• Connections to servers, NAS devices and high-performance workstations
• Home networking installations that require improved interference protection

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Cable length: 20 m
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded copper
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, screened
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Colour: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to the network port of your switch, router or patch panel and the other RJ-45 end to the destination device such as a workstation, server or NAS. Ensure that connected equipment supports the desired network speed and that grounding practices for shielded cabling are followed where required. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid placing it alongside sources of strong electromagnetic interference if possible.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, install the cable with appropriate grounding for shielded systems and maintain bend radii recommended for Cat6a stranded cabling. Use the cable for runs up to 20 meters and verify link speed and integrity with network testing tools after installation.
