Sieťový kábel ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP sivý 2 m

S/FTP Patch Cord Cat.6A, Component Level, LSOH, grey, 2 m. The ROLINE CAT.6a S/FTP networking cable is a 2 metre patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission between network devices. It features shielded twisted pairs and screened RJ-45 connectors on both ends, a durable moulded kink protection and gold plated contacts for stable connections. The cable uses stranded copper conductors and adheres to EIA/TIA 568 contact assignment.

Advantages

The cable provides full braid shielding with each pair additionally shielded by aluminium-clad polyester foil, reducing electromagnetic interference. High-quality plugs with gold-plated contacts and moulded strain relief increase durability and contact reliability. Flexible construction allows routing in confined spaces while maintaining performance consistent with the Cat6a standard.

Suitable for

• 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections in small office and data center patching
• Linking switches, routers, servers and wall outlets within structured cabling
• Environments requiring reduced electromagnetic interference

Key specifications

• Length: 2 m
• Standard: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil-shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Conductor: 4-pair stranded copper
• Contact configuration: 1:1 (EIA/TIA 568)
• Jacket: LSOH (grey)

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of a device and the other plug to the corresponding port on the network switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks. Route the cable without sharp bends and avoid excessive tension; the moulded kink protection helps prevent damage at the connector area.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP patch cable for short-range links within structured cabling (patch panels, switches and devices) and avoid running it in parallel with heavy power lines. Verify connector seating and test the link after installation to confirm 10 Gbps capability where required.
