Sieťový kábel S/CONN ShiverPeaks Cat. 7 S/FTP 2 m červený

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 2 m Red is a 2-meter high-performance Ethernet cable engineered for reliable, high-speed data transmission in home and professional networks. It uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference, and is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to maintain stable contact and minimize signal loss. The red jacket provides easy visual identification in crowded cable runs.

Advantages

This Cat. 7 S/FTP cable offers enhanced shielding with a combination of overall braid and individually foil-shielded pairs, improving resistance to crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded cables. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs provide corrosion resistance and consistent electrical contact. The 2 m length balances flexibility and reach for typical desktop or rack-to-device connections, while the colored jacket simplifies cable management.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired connections between switches, routers and networked devices
• Desktop PCs, workstations and game consoles requiring stable Ethernet links
• Rack-mounted equipment and short patch runs in server rooms or media racks
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where shielded cabling is preferred

Key specifications

• Category: Cat. 7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Length: 2 meters
• Cable color: Red
• Conductor: stranded or solid copper design suitable for patch and device connections
• Supported applications: Gigabit Ethernet and higher-frequency signal transmission

How to use

Connect one end of the cable to the RJ-45 port of your network device and the other end to the port on the switch, router or modem. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure the connection. For best performance, avoid sharp bends and excessive tension on the cable; keep the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic noise where possible. When routing in equipment racks, use cable management accessories to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

Use this S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP cable for short to medium-length links where improved shielding is beneficial. For permanent in-wall installations, verify local building regulations and consider cabling rated specifically for in-wall or plenum use. Inspect connectors periodically and replace the cable if the jacket or plugs show visible damage.
