Sieťový kábel Sharkoon Cat.6a S/FTP RJ-45 Cat6a 2 m žltý

The Sharkoon Cat.6a SFTP RJ-45 Cat6a 2 m Yellow is a 2-metre networking cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission. It uses S/FTP (shielded foil with braided shield) construction to reduce electromagnetic and radio-frequency interference and is terminated with RJ-45 connectors for broad compatibility with routers, switches, network cards and other Ethernet-capable devices. The cable supports applications that require stable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit connections within short to medium cable runs while offering a distinctive yellow jacket for easy identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides enhanced protection against crosstalk and external interference compared with unshielded alternatives, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or nearby electrical equipment. The Cat.6a specification supports higher bandwidth and better performance for demanding network tasks. With durable RJ-45 connectors and a flexible jacket, the cable is suitable for regular plugging and routing in home and office setups. The 2 m length balances reach and minimal excess cable, while the yellow colour helps with quick visual identification.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PCs, laptops and network switches
• Patch panel connections in home or small office racks
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming and file transfers
• Environments where cable identification is useful (colour-coded installations)

Key specifications

• Category: Cat.6a (augmented Cat6)
• Shielding: S/FTP (pair foil shield + overall braided shield)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 2 m
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to your network device (for example a router, switch or network port on a PC) and the other RJ-45 plug to the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to maintain a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and mechanical stress; keep it separate from high-voltage power cables where possible to reduce the chance of interference. For rack or patch panel installations, gently coil any excess length to keep the installation tidy.

Recommendations

Use this Cat.6a S/FTP cable for short to medium-length high-speed links up to the specified Cat.6a performance limits. Avoid running the cable parallel and close to mains power lines and excessive heat sources. For structured cabling or permanent installations, follow local cabling standards and consider strain relief at connection points to prolong service life.
