Sieťový kábel Sharkoon Cat.6a SFTP RJ-45 Cat6a 0,5 m čierny

The Sharkoon Cat.6a SFTP RJ-45 Cat6a 0.5m Black is a short, shielded Ethernet patch cable engineered for high-speed wired connections. Designed to meet Category 6a performance, this 0.5 metre cable uses S/FTP shielding and standard RJ-45 connectors to offer stable data transmission with reduced electromagnetic interference. Its compact length and black jacket make it suitable for tidy cable runs behind desks, between network devices and in patch panels where minimal slack is preferred.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded cables, which supports more reliable throughput at higher frequencies. The Cat6a specification allows for support of 10 Gigabit Ethernet over short distances, while the robust RJ-45 connectors ensure broad compatibility with switches, routers, network cards and patch panels. The half-metre length helps to minimize cable clutter and signal attenuation in close-proximity connections.

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet port on your devices until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Use this 0.5 m cable for direct device-to-device links where minimal length is required; avoid sharp bends near the connectors and do not place heavy objects on the cable to preserve shielding integrity. If used in a rack or patch panel, route the cable to avoid interference from power cables and ensure strain relief at connection points.

Recommendations

For best performance, pair the cable with shielded network equipment or ensure proper grounding when using S/FTP cables. Select this 0.5 m length when you need a compact, low-profile connection to reduce excess cabling and maintain organized network runs.
