Sieťový kábel Sharkoon Cat.6a SFTP RJ-45 Cat6a 2 m zelený

The Sharkoon Cat.6a SFTP RJ-45 Cat6a 2 m Green networking cable is a 2-meter Ethernet cable compliant with the Cat6a standard. It is equipped with RJ-45 connectors on both ends and S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. The cable’s green jacket provides a visible color coding option for network layouts in home or office environments while maintaining the performance expected for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications over short runs.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding design combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to improve resistance to external noise sources and minimize pair-to-pair interference. Standard RJ-45 connectors ensure compatibility with common network devices and network switches. At 2 meters, the cable is long enough for most desk-to-wall socket connections yet short enough to avoid excess slack, making cable management easier. The green jacket helps with quick identification in patch panels and bundled cable runs.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktops, laptops or workstations to wall sockets or switches
• Short-run connections in server racks and patch panels
• Home office and small office network setups
• Areas requiring reduced electromagnetic interference and reliable high-speed links

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat6a performance
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually foiled pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 2 m
• Color: Green

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding network ports on devices such as routers, switches, wall outlets or network cards until the latch clicks to ensure a secure connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends, sharp edges and sources of strong electromagnetic noise. For organized installations, secure the cable with cable ties or routing clips while maintaining gentle curves to preserve the integrity of the internal twisted pairs and shielding.

Recommendations

For best performance, avoid routing the cable alongside power lines and keep bend radius above the manufacturer’s recommended minimum. Use the green color for visual identification in multi-cable environments and choose shorter lengths when possible to reduce latency and signal degradation.
